The Sir Charles Mackerras Junior Fellowship in Conducting

A Trinity Laban Junior Fellowship offers a rare and exciting platform for exceptional and aspiring young musicians, providing the support and opportunities necessary to successfully make the leap from full-time conservatoire-based study to excellence in the music profession.

These intensive, year-long Fellowships provide individuals with the means and the time to enhance their professional skills and contacts, while pushing and exploring their own artistic development with the invaluable support of a Trinity Laban mentor.

JUNIOR FELLOWSHIPS

The Richard Carne Junior Fellowship for Individuals

The Richard Carne Junior Fellow in Individual Performance will be awarded a £6,000 tax-free bursary to cover tuition expenses and help with living costs during the academic year of tenure.

Two Junior Fellowships in Piano Accompaniment 

Junior Fellows in Piano Accompaniment are required to mentor and accompany instrumental and vocal students at Trinity Laban. There are two awards of £8,000 each.

The Sir Charles Mackerras Junior Fellowship in Conducting will be awarded a £4,000 tax-free bursary to cover tuition expenses and help with living costs during the academic year of tenure.
