Junior Choir Summer Course Conductor

UYC wishes to appoint a conductor to lead the Ulster Youth Junior Choir Summer Course in 2019. Please contact the UYC office for further details.

Ulster Youth Choir was established in 1999 to provide the best of Northern Ireland’s young singers aged 14-24 with the opportunity to sing together to the highest possible standards receiving training from some of the best choral and vocal practitioners from throughout the UK and Ireland and is now regarded as one of Northern Ireland’s leading artistic and educational organisations.

Since then UYC has expanded its activity establishing the Ulster Youth Training Choir as well as providing choral workshops province wide and offering training opportunities for schools, teachers and extended vocal training for existing members. UYC has performed across Northern Ireland and beyond and has participated in the BBC Proms and Belfast Festival at Queens. The choir has also produced two commercial CDs and recorded for the BBC.
