SCO is seeking an exceptionally well organised and dedicated individual to be the next Concerts and Projects Manager. You will have at least 5 years’ experience in the creative industries sector at manager level.

Reporting to the Concerts Director, the postholder will be responsible for the efficient servicing of the SCO schedule, with particular responsibility for logistics planning, tour management and Health & Safety. Reporting to the Chief Executive, the postholder will act as Producer of the annual Virgin Money Fireworks Concert which closes the Edinburgh International Festival, planning, co-ordinating and managing all aspects of this large outdoor event.

Founded in 1974, the SCO is one of Scotland’s five National Performing Companies. The Orchestra promotes a regular winter season of concerts in Scotland’s main cities, as well as undertaking many engagements and tours in smaller regional centres including the Scottish Highlands.   The Orchestra records and broadcasts frequently and, through its Creative Learning programme, runs a busy programme of concerts and workshops in the wider community.
