Flat Out to release new single "Dreamland"

Flat Out

Flat Out’s new single “Dreamland” will be digitally released worldwide on Friday March 24th 2017. Dreamland is about being apart from your loved one. It’s inspiration is drawn from being in a long distance relationship and the frustrations that are attached to not being able to see that person at will. It represents the longings of memories of the past and hopeful anticipation to be reunited in the future.

From Ballina, County Mayo - Flat Out comprises of cousins Ciara O’Donnell and Mark O’Donnell along with friends Bríd O’Donnell and Harry Lawlor. Coming from a traditional Irish music background, all members perform lead and backing vocals depending on the song and between them play guitar, fiddle, accordion, harp, bodhrán, flute and tin whistle with their own take on contemporary music. They are past winners of the Le Crunch Apple of my Eye national contest. Last year they performed over 100 times across Ireland, Scotland, St Patrick’s Day in Malawi, Africa and a summer residency in Raglan Road - Walt Disney World Resort in Florida. Last year they also released an EP called “Half Empty Half Full”, which is available on Spotify and all of the usual places.
