One of the most original and unique acts on the Irish acoustic world music scene, the multicultural melting pot that is No Crows combines the rhythms of Catalonia and South America with original songs and tunes, Irish and American folk songs, a hint of Gypsy swing with an exotic eastern influence, and some Irish traditional music thrown into the mix with some aplomb. No Crows include Steve Wickham (The Waterboys), Russian Gypsy violin virtuoso Oleg Ponomarev and singer songwriter Ray Coen in the the heady mixture of Mallorcan, Swiss and Sligo musicians. The Steeple Sessions
The Steeple Sessions started out as a concert series showcasing talented musicians mostly from traditional/folk music circles and now has evolved into becoming a brand name in music promotion, management and education across many music genres.
Founded in 2011, Steeple Sessions has become a household name in acoustic concerts hosted in spectacular venues such as the beautifully ornate Catholic University Church and Unitarian Church both located in the heart of Dublin city centre on St. Stephen’s Green. Other venues include St. Anne’s Church on Dawson Street, Christchurch Cathedral, the majestic Masonic Hall on Molesworth Street and King John’s Castle in Limerick.
Steeple Sessions also offers music management and PR services and promotes music education programs including master classes and workshops in voice and a variety of instruments and genres.
