Following the 2017/18 NCH Chamber Music Series, the National Concert Hall welcomes a roster of leading Irish and international string quartets, artists and ensembles to perform as part of the ‘NCH Chamber Music Series’ 2018/19.

The Irish Baroque Orchestra under the directorship of violinist Monica Huggett traces the evolution of the Trio Sonata, featuring works by Italian composers in a series three concerts.  The first features works by baroque composers such as Buonamenta, Castello and Gabriele.  The second focuses on sonatas by Corelli and Vivaldi while the third includes works by lesser known composers Sammartini, Galuppi and Giordani.
