The Royal Northern College of Music is currently recruiting for a full-time 9-month maternity cover for the Professional Engagements Administrator, starting from Monday 24th April 2017.

An administrator with knowledge of and enthusiasm for classical music is sought to join the RNCM’s Professional Engagements Team. This busy team organises a wide range of public professional performances with music clubs, societies and organisations for both students and graduates and also services the “Sound Advice” graduate support service.

Under the direction of the Professional Engagements Manager, the Professional Engagements Administrator will provide administrative support for all aspects of the Team’s work.

Dealing with members of the public, staff and students, you will have excellent oral and verbal communication skills. Ideally you will have a degree in Music or equivalent and have a working knowledge of both the classical repertoire and wider music genres.

You will be a good team worker with a high level of accuracy and a pro-active approach to meeting deadlines and working on your own initiative. You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications (particularly Word and Excel) and have some familiarity with working with databases.
