Join a spectacular 100 piece Irish Memory Orchestra performing the World premiere of The Memory Symphony by Dave Flynn in Christchurch Cathedral, Dublin
The Irish Memory Orchestra’s Apprentice Scheme returns in 2017. It is aimed at advanced musicians of all ages who perform traditional, classical and/or jazz music. All instruments considered, including voice.
The mentoring scheme takes place in Athenry, Co. Galway from 23rd-27th October. World premiere performances of The Memory Symphony follow on 28th & 29th October in Dublin and Galway.
Full fee scholarships and possibility of future work to Outstanding Apprentices through our Bill Whelan Scholarships. One outstanding applicant will be named ‘Apprentice of the Year’ and given a professional performance with the Irish Memory Orchestra in 2018.
