Everybody Learns

Everybody Learns

David "Ducksy" Moynihan

Reviving the ‘good vibrations’ of the 1960s, David “Ducksy” Moynihan, singer-songwriter, composer and instrumentalist, is gradually becoming one of the most exciting acts in today’s music scene. Born in the picturesque village of Carrigrohane in County Cork, Ireland, David’s imaginative performances and inventive arrangements bring a deeply touching sensibility to many of his songs.

A prime example of this is “Everybody Learns”, the track on which his latest video is based. Featuring a wide variety of instruments-including bass, tambourine and piano accordion-it is a perfect showcase for David’s talent as a writer and producer.

This short feature is Ducksy’s first collaboration with Cait O’Dwyer Photography. Shot in Cork City, it is full of engaging cinematic imagery which beautifully compliments Ducksy’s unique musical style.

David would like to sincerely thank Cait for producing, editing and directing the film. He would also like to thank Tony Ryan (from the Guitar Shop in MacCurtian Street Cork City) for providing the guitars and accordion. The song was mixed by Harley Splisbury and the drums were performed by James Ryan.

“Everybody Learns” is available to download from Amazon.  It is also included on David’s debut record The Echoing Refrain which can be bought on iTunes. For more information about Ducksy’s work, please visit: http://davidmoynihan.com/content/music.
